Thomas Newton has reported on UK consumer technology and telecoms for over ten years, and is currently working for Trusted Reviews as a freelance writer, mainly contributing weekend news stories and features.
Previously serving as Computing Editor for Trusted Reviews, Thomas has also written for price comparison site Recombu.com and the relaunched PC Mag UK, Thomas has been fascinated with home computers since Christmas 1987 when he received a second-hand Amstrad CPC 464 – which ran programs and games stored on cassette tapes – as a present.
