According to Google, the Nexus One isn’t just a phone, it’s a super phone. Today Google officially announced the Nexus One, its first “super phone”. The HTC made Nexus boasts a large 3.7-inch screen, measures 11.5mm thin, packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, a 5-megapixel camera, a 3.5mm headphone jack and it runs Android (2.1), of course.

Other features include speech-to-text and a cool updated version of Google Earth Mobile that allows you to fly through maps. You’ll be able to buy it from the Google store SIM-free for around £330 and on a contract with Vodafone soon. Everything is done through Google’s store and you can even get your Nexus One engraved if you like that sort of thing. Expect more info soon.
